Never did the cameras of the latest flagship smartphones of Samsung were included in the list of its downsides so it came as a surprise that the Android 5.1 Lollipop update on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge will freshen up the snappers of both handsets with cool new features.
The new software will enable the 16-megapixel rear-facing cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge to capture images in RAW format and enjoy the feature of shutter speed control.
There is also a new simplified pro mode which allows users to manually fine-tune the focus, ISO, exposure, and white balance of the resulting photos taken from the devices.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop also enables device users to adjust the exposure directly from the viewfinder of the camera app by simply dragging their finger up and down the screen until they get the desired amount of exposure before taking the photo. With this, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have taken on the same feature of the iPhone.
