Ariana Grande Proves that She’s Also Great at Comedy as She Can Expertly Impersonates Other Pop Stars!

Pop singer Ariana Grande is already a made music artist, there is no doubt about that. But she is proving herself to be a versatile celebrity as she has been into acting, where she actually originated from back during her Nickelodeon days, and of late, hosting a TV show.

She was so good in hosting several episodes of “Saturday Night Live” that some talk shows have booked her for guesting appearances and let her do the talking.

True enough, she never fails to amaze talk show hosts with her guesting as she always has a mouthful to say about a lot of things with regards to her career, her music, and even her infamous doughnutgate scandal last year.

She actually confronted her critics by lampooning her very own doughnutgate scandal in a recent episode of “Saturday Night Live” indicative of how mature she has become.

Ariana has also asserted her feminism time and again as she grapples with pop stardom. She has become a 22-year-old girl that comes into her own trying to balance growing up, love, and a lot of other stuff along the way, notes Billboard.

A gifted comic actress

For those who are not yet in the know, Ariana Grande is actually a gifted comic actress who expertly impersonates other pop stars.

She has shown her gift not only on “Saturday Night Live” but also in “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Ariana Grande can do a perfect mealy-mouthed impression of rapper Future and breaks into “Complicated” mimicking Avril Lavigne. By far her best impression, however, is the “Jurassic World” velociraptor. She curls her fingers into claws, hunkers down, and does a Wookiee-like growl ‘Hrrrrrll’ much to the adulation of fans and the talk show host no less.

There were even reports saying that music diva Celine Dion told Ariana that she almost peed watching her re-create Celine’s signature chest pound for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

But her skills for mimicry do not make it any easier for the pop singer to show her true self. She is still an entertainer with an old-school upbringing who has made it big in pop music.

In a recent interview, Ariana said that the super bunny is her superhero or supervillain, depending on what she is feeling during the day. She added that whenever she doubts or question choices that she knows in her gut are right, she would ask herself what would that bad super bunny in her do. She explained that the super bunny outfit helps her call the shots.

Lost on-screen moments

Prior to making it big as a pop star, Ariana Grande was actually more of an actress both on Broadway and Nickelodeon.

She had her first taste of fame in the musical “13” which was followed shortly by her scene-stealing role in “Victorious” as the quirky Cat Valentine. The role in “Victorious,” also led her to the spin-off “Sam and Cat.”

However, her fans and people should know that she actually had a number of brief cameos in various movies and TV shows that have become her lost on-screen moments.

The Rolling Stones listed them down as the web series “The Battery’s Down” back in 2009 where she was briefly featured riffing at a bat mitzvah during the song “All About Me;” a vocal talent for the animated film “Snowflake the White Gorilla” in 2011; a voice character for Princess Diaspro in the TV cartoon “Winx Club” also in 2011; played Amanda ‘the gymnast’ Benson in the Nickelodeon adaptation of Gordon Korman’s novel “Swindle” in 2014; a guest spot on “Family Guy” as the Italian girl in 2014; a voice talent for the unreleased children’s movie “Underdogs” last year; and one of the many other celebrities who popped their faces on the Ben Stiller-starrer “Zoolander 2” early this year.

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande is also not the type who would take a harsh comment on social media sitting down. Although she likes to play it cute often, she can’t stand people making a big fuss about morality or women music celebrities showing some skin on their music videos.
