Whether she admits it or not, Ariana Grande will be haunted by her doughnut-licking debacle for days, months, and even years to come.
Fans may forget it soon but occasionally, when the opportunity presents itself to remind the whole world again about that infamous fiasco, the clever and witty guys will do the already-patented ‘Ariana Grande donut exploit’ if and when given the chance.
Apparently, supermodel Kendall Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian seem to be two of those clever and witty persons as they just made an indirect rubbing on Ariana Grande and her recent confectionary faux pas during their joint surprise graduation party with sister Kylie Jenner, notes Refinery 29.
A good old rubbing
In an Instagram post by Kim Kardashian on July 23, a black and white image photo shows Kylie, Kendall, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney posing for a wacky shot with Kylie wearing a toga to indicate her graduation.
Kendall and Khloe were seen in the same image licking what appears to be a Krispy Kreme donut. It is not clear whether Kendall and Khloe were throwing shades or rubbing Ariana Grande or that they were making their own personal statements about obesity in America.
From the looks of it, though, it does not seem to indicate that they are supporting Ariana Grande’s tongue-based approach to waging a war against obesity in America.
What is certain at this point is that Ariana Grande has not seen the last of the celebrities who will be posting images on social media where they will be seen showing their tongues out to lick doughnuts and it will be a long time before people forget. That is part of the price of fame that she had to dearly pay for a seeming small act of mischief.
Not her usual self
Meanwhile, a concerned fan of Ariana Grande has come up with an open letter to the “Problem“ singer expressing her concern because of the recent tweets of Ariana that seems to suggest that she is having some problems, details VH1.
The fan was actually citing his or her reaction to the recent posts of Ariana on Twitter as the pop singer has been busy as a bee on the social media site in what appears to be a roller-coaster ride of emotions.
The fan wrote that he or she just wanted to check on his or her idol because Ariana’s tweet seems to indicate that there have been a lot of things going around her head after the doughnut-licking debacle, which was really hard on the “Love Me Harder” singer.
Fans have noted that Ariana was not her usual self on Twitter as she has posted that she was crying uncontrollably or that she was feeling like an ass or that her wisdom teeth have just been removed. She also posted photos of her dog and herself where viewers still need to flip their heads to the side to see what she wanted them to see.
The concerned fan also said that he or she would initiate a grassroots campaign to shut down all Krispy Kremes in the area, which is another rubbing on her infamous donut store fiasco.
Ariana got a rude awakening for a mischievous act she committed on the Fourth of July. She and her new boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, one of her backup dancers, went to the Wolfee Donuts on July 4 at Lake Elsinore in California.
While they were queuing at the counter waiting for their orders to be taken, Ariana mischievously licked a couple of the donuts displayed on top of the counter shelves. While her beau certainly found it funny, the store’s security cameras caught it on film. Worst, she was also overheard on video saying that she hates America and that she also hates Americans.
