She has shown her gift not only on “Saturday Night Live” but also in “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Ariana Grande can do a perfect mealy-mouthed impression of rapper Future and breaks into “Complicated” mimicking Avril Lavigne. By far her best impression, however, is the “Jurassic World” velociraptor. She curls her fingers into claws, hunches, and does a Wookiee-like growl ‘Hrrrrrll’ much to the adulation of fans and the hosts no less.
There were even reports that music diva Celine Dion told Ariana that she almost peed watching her create Celine’s signature chest pound for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
But her skills for mimicry do not make it any easier for the pop singer to show her true self. She is still an entertainer with an old-school upbringing that has made it big in pop music.
In a recent interview, Ariana said that the super bunny is her superhero or supervillain, depending on what she is feeling during the day. She added that whenever she doubts or questions choices that she knows in her gut are right, she would ask herself what would that bad super bunny in her do. She explained that the super bunny outfit helps her call the shots.
