Even though Apple are trying to get everyone to pay as much attention to their Apple Watch as possible, the company’s core fans seem to have their focus elsewhere for the time being. According to reports, people are actually most interested in hearing about the iPhone 6S and iPad Pro at this point, as both devices are still stuck in a “rumored” phase but we have no official information about their release dates.
The iPad Pro specifically has been surrounded by a lot of mystery and serious rumors for a long time now, and we’re expecting to finally see the device sometime this year, after a long wait. Apple have been very quiet about the rumored new iPad, but there are claims that the company is actually keeping a close eye on what people are saying about them, and are trying their best to make sure that the iPad Pro will live up to all expectations, and even surpass them.
Which, of course, wouldn’t be too surprising for a company like Apple with their proven track record of giving their fans their best quality work. We also have rumors that Apple are planning to release the iPhone 6S along with the 6S Plus and another model, the iPhone 6C. On the other hand, they are apparently not planning an actual major release in the iPhone line this year, meaning the iPhone 7 will come in 2016 as the earliest possibility.
This would coincide with previous rumors that Apple are looking to expand the iPhone line in its current state before moving forward with new models. They have been trying to stick to a regular release schedule until now, putting out devices on an annual basis, but if they want to keep innovating as much as they’re known for, they will probably need to slow down a little bit and reevaluate what they’re doing.
And, if the rumors about the different versions of the iPhone 6 are true, this could mean that Apple are trying to look at the device from all possible angles before deciding what to do with the iPhone 7. There are many ways in which the iPhone could be developed and improved further, and Apple will probably want to experiment with as many different ideas as possible before actually working on the iPhone 7.
That way, they can make sure that the device is received properly, and people see the innovation in it, instead of accusing Apple of relying on their past fame too much. This has been an ongoing problem for the company in recent years, as they have noticeably slowed down their innovation in favor of making more stable, predictable releases.
