Apple Will Launch Minor iOS 8.1.3 Update Ahead of iOS 8.2, Increasing Usage Indicated in Web Traffic Logs!

Apple is currently planning an intermediate release of the iOS update before the future Q1 launch of the iOS 8.2. Gordon Kelly from Forbes looked over the various evidences regarding iOS 8.1.3. The number of current hits from iOS 8.1.3 remains quite low, resulting in just a few dozen from the various Apple networks.

Looking at the overall traffic will indicate a clean upward trend aside from a weekend dip and is based on a larger sample size. There is a clear trend of increasing usage and visits commencing from Apple’s individual networks while looking at the web traffic logs.

According to the latest rumor, Apple will issue a minor iOS 8.1.3 update ahead of the release of the iOS 8.2. This update will bring a lot of solutions to the bugs and problems that were left unresolved in the system with the iOS 8.1.2. These include issues like the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connections along with several battery draining problems. According to the latest reports, the iOS 8.1.3 will hit the markets quite soon within the next few weeks.

Although Apple hasn’t announced a specific release date for this minor update, users will be made aware of its release through a system notification. At the same time, the company is also preparing for the release of a major update. It will be the first time that Apple will release the x.2 version of the operating system, since the release of iOS 4. The iOS 8.2 update has already been provided to the developers for undergoing the necessary testing and scrutiny.

In the Beta version of this update, the WatchKit software development kit has also been added. It allows the developers to manufacture apps designed for the new wearable device, Apple Watch. Reports indicate that iOS 8.2 will be released early, next year. IOS 8 is included in the latest line of iPhone and iPad devices. Users should also be able to check the update by going to Settings followed by General and Software Update.

The iOS 8.1.2 is available for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S, iPad Air and the iPad Mini with the Retina display. Along with this, the iPad thread and fourth-generation devices will also receive this update. The iPad Mini and the 5th generation iPod Touch will not be excluded as well.
