Kou added that Apple has shipped approximately 5.4 million Macs, 8.8 million iPads, and 54. 2 million iPhones in the fiscal third quarter of 2015. The numbers were great for those lines of Apple products, but the analyst notes that iPad mini sales have declined by a whopping 33.5%.
Hopefully with the Ipad mini 4’s release, the Cupertino-based company will be able to turn sales around for its mini-tablet. Tech Radar reports that aside from the iPad mini 4, Apple shall also be unveiling its rumored iPad Pro and the iPad Air 3 as well.
If these reports are true, then it contradicts earlier reports that indicated that Apple has opted to skip on creating another version of the iPad Air this year. The iPad Pro is the giant iPad that the company has been rumored to be designing for several years.
Macworld suggests that the newest line of tablet from Apple will sport a 12-inch display and will definitely be the company’s next big thing to date. Initially called as the iPad Air Plus, the iPad Pro was first reported for a mid-November release because Apple wants to take the safer option in testing whether it will be a hit in the market or not, by planning to capitalize on the Holiday season where people usually have more money to spend. Avid Apple users are very hopeful though that the company will unveil it in October.
