There have also been some minor rumors that Apple might be looking to consolidate their iPad line and have fewer devices out on the market – which could raise some questions for the future of the iPad Air.
However, this is probably countered by the fact that they released the iPad Pro, which only further diversified the iPad line and gave users more choice than before. Obviously, if they were planning to release fewer devices, then they would not have done something like that, unless they were planning to make this one their main.
But it’s probably pretty safe to assume right now that the different iPad versions aren’t going anywhere and that the company isn’t going to be making such drastic changes in their line-up. If anything, we expect that they might experiment with even more additions to that line.
But all in due time – for now, Apple fans are focused on the iPad Air 3 and the company’s progress on that particular device. Are we going to see a release in March or is it going to be postponed further? And is the device going to come with any major changes or just continue the familiar trend? A lot can happen over several months, and it will be curious to see the outcome of this.
