Apple iOS 9.3.4 Jailbreak Made Impossible by Update Seemingly Aimed at Improving Security!

There’s also the issue of how that would work with the iTunes store, as jailbreaking devices also allows users to “side-load” apps, which would be a problem for Apple from a financial standpoint.

All in all, there are far too many issues for this to ever become reality. But this still doesn’t address the fact that Apple are always actively working against the efforts of the jailbreak community, and they are trying hard to make sure that it’s impossible to jailbreak the current version of iOS for as long as possible.

Perhaps the situation might change in the future if users start being too vocal about it, but even then we don’t expect the company to outright say that they now support jailbreakers and aren’t going to do anything against them anymore.

It would likely be in the form of Apple relaxing the restrictions of iOS to some extent, allowing their users to do more with their devices if they desire to, while at the same time keeping certain barriers that maintain the system’s security. It would be great if iOS became more customizable and flexible, and the operating system could definitely benefit from allowing users to contribute to it in more ways than just app development, but that’s a dream which will take a long time to materialize. For now, we should keep an eye out for Apple’s work on iOS 10 and their upcoming announcements for it.
