From the moment they became an item, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone became every couple’s epitome of what a perfect pair should be.
But this year, the lovebirds have been rocked with continuous break-up rumors and cheating allegations, usually on Andrew’s end. Further fueling the rumors is the fact that the two keep on confusing the public if they are still indeed a couple or not anymore.
The two met while on the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2011 where they portrayed reel couple Peter and Gwen. They hit it off from there and took things real, but they shocked everyone when they decided to take a break from each other this March, only to reconcile a few months later. Despite consistent break-up rumors, there were speculations that the pair were even secretly engaged.
Recently, reports have claimed that Andrew and Emma, dubbed collectively as StoneField, have ended things after four years of dating. Reports say that the reason is none other Stone’s “La La Land” co-star Ryan Gosling.
According to Youth Health Mag, Emma is apparently getting too close with her leading man thus resulting to a strained relationship for Andrew and her. According to reports, Gosling and Stone have been arriving on the set together and speak quite frankly about each other.
This is the third pairing for the on-screen couple who gained a huge following after they showed immense chemistry in 2011’s “Crazy, Stupid Love.” They reunited once again as star-crossed lovers in 2013’s “Gangster Squad.”
For their third movie together, the 26-year-old actress will portray Mia, an actress dreaming of a big break while the 34-year-old Gosling will be playing Sebastian, a jazz pianist who will eventually fall in love with Mia.
“La La Land” will follow the love story of the two and their struggle with their careers. Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film also stars J.K. Simmons, Finn Wittrock, John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Meagan Fay. “La La Land” is slated for a July 2016 release.
While the two have been pictured together holding hands in their characters for the film, Gosling and Stone were also spotted outside a theater in between their shoot at Burbank, Movie News Guide reports.
What seems to fuel the dating rumors to be true is the fact that Garfield recently opened up claiming that he’s not okay. There were also reports that say Gosling and Eva Mendes are having relationship troubles too.
The 31-year-old actor got real and released his frustrations in his recent interview with USA Today and talked about his struggles with his image as an actor and his relationship with Stone.
As per Venture Capital Post, what made him struggle with his image was the news that “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise was cut after two movies. Garfield portrayed Spider-Man in 2012’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” and its sequel, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” released in 2014.
The web-slinging superhero is slated to have another reboot due in 2017 where Tom Holland will play a younger Peter Parker and his Spidey alter ego.
The “Silence” actor claimed that he’s not really doing well as of late and that he’s struggling as a person. He confessed that he’s been wanting to play Peter Parker and his alter-ego since he was three years old and it makes him disappointed that the franchise chose someone else over him after two films.
USA Today also notes that Andrew kept on highlighting his and Emma’s relationship which was weird in a way because, between the laid-back pair, Garfield is known to be the elusive one.
Speculations say that Garfield was just trying to keep a good front for the media to avoid the fact that he and Emma are already over.
The Los Angeles-born actor is now busy promoting his film “99 Homes.” He’s also currently busy filming “Hacksaw Ridge” where he will star alongside Mel Gibson. After his commitments, however, Andrew has been very vocal with his plans to take a break from the limelight.
I can’t even!! This must be for those miserable fan girls who feel they can dictate who a celeb dates. How in the world is it that you can so frivelously twist, manipulate and take things so out of context is beyond me and outright lie in some cases. For one the man has been filming for most of the year. He’s currently filming in Australia. Convenient for breakup rumors no doubt. Which were never proven as fact and that she all, but denied. And since no pics are easily available on set on the daily it’s easy enough to conviently propel those on set rumors. I would be shocked, but I’m not. What I find funny is that it’s all about Ryan, Andrew and Emma. Eva’s like the throwaway comment at the end of the otherwise happy scenario. If Emma is single. Ryan must date her is the thought. There’s no other option she’s the surrogant Rachel. I’m quite tired of this fanfic. And the hypocrisy that goes with it. I doubt this will be heard, but at least I said my piece.
Check your sources they all originate from one or two tabloid articles. And yes I do think part if it was promotion for the film. Poor taste in promotion, but promo. Saw more chemistry with Roony Mara. Latest stills has them looking like brother and sister, but their still trying to make it seem like the greatest romantic chemistry in film. I don’t buy it, but I’ll still give it a look when it’s out. They look cute together, but so do puppies lol so?
