According to the International Business Times, “American Horror Story: Hotel” will focus more on male characters as the show will have seven male leads. Apparently, Lady Gaga will not be rendering songs in the show but dishing out screams and shouts. Murphy confirmed that the “Bad Romance” hitmaker will not be making music but will be involved in a love triangle with Bomer and Finn Wittrock. This puts to bed rumors that the show will be embracing a musical approach in Season 5.
Speculations from a report in Vanity Fair said that since the show is diving into the details of the scary things happening when a person checks in at a hotel, the plots of the current season is allegedly based on the past stories from the controversial Hotel Cecil in downtown LA.
Hotel Cecil was where Canadian student Elisa Liam stayed before she was found dead in the hotel’s water tank in the rooftop. Hotel surveillance videos show Elisa acting in a weird manner, even talking and hiding from someone unseen in the elevator, before disappearing.
It was also the hotel where Beth Short, also known as Black Dahlia, stayed before her gruesome murder. And if that’s not enough bases for horror stories, serial killers Richard Ramirez and Jack Unterweger also checked in at Hotel Cecil during their murdering days.
