Ben Stiller wants Cara Delevingne to join the cast for the upcoming Zoolander 2. There have been a lot of talks regarding a possible sequel to the 2001 hit comedy movie. Recently, in a new interview, Ben Stiller confirmed that the script for this highly anticipated movie has finally been produced. The actor is now quite eager to make Cara Delevingne, the 22-year-old model-turned-actress to appear in this movie.
Ben Stiller was also asked for an update on the current project. He told MTV that the script is there. He doesn’t wish to deny the script at all, and a reading of the script is also available. However, he declared that the plan hasn’t been fully formulated. Earlier, Cara was linked to the movie earlier during this year, and Stiller confirmed that he surely wants her to appear in Zoolander 2.
In the meantime, for further enjoyment of fans, it seems like Owen Wilson will also be returning in Zoolander 2. He has highly praised the quality of the script for this upcoming sequel. According to him, “I have seen the script, and it seems funny”. Stiller will direct the comedy sequel himself from the current script. It involves the input of Justin Theroux, a famous screenwriter for various movies like Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder.
