Civilization 6 will launch next month, and 2K Games has released the system requirement for the PC. The fans are busy trying to figure out what improvements need to be made to their PC, in order to support the game.
2K Games thanked the fans for cooperating with them and the developers Firaxis. The game developers had taken a lot of time to ensure that Civilization 6 was optimized.
The minimum requirement for the PC is Windows 7 64BIT or 8.1 64BIT or 10 64BIT. The CPU should be Intel Core 13 2.5 GHZ or an AMD PHENOM 11 2.6 GHZ. The PC should have a basic 4 GB RAM with 12 GB hard drive.
The system needs a DVD-ROM for the installation disc. A 1 GB DX 11 video card is a must. The basic requirement of the graphics card is either an AMD 5570 or an NVIDIA 450. While these are the minimum requirements of Civilization 6, they aren’t the recommended system requirements.
The demands of the Civilization 6 system requirement are very low as compared to games like Mafia III and Battlefield 1.
2K Games along with Firaxis decided to launch the Anniversary Edition of Civilization 6. The special edition is priced at $90. The Anniversary Edition will have limited copies with only 20,000 of these available in the market.
The special edition contains the new game along with the content featured in the digital deluxe. The bundle includes the Aztec civilization preorder bonus. The players also receive a special 25th-anniversary coin set and display case.
There is also a 100-page Civilization Through the Years hardcover art book. The special edition comes with a special packaging themed around the anniversary celebration.
Created by Sid Meier, the game debuted in 1991 and had continued to be highly popular over the years. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, Meier released a statement saying that he hopes that the players enjoy the world that they have created with the new features.
The Aztec civilization pre-order pack will be available for free for everyone three months after Civilization 6 launches on 21st October. The deluxe edition would give the players access to four expansion packs with new maps, scenarios, civilizations, and leaders.
The countdown to Civilization 6 has started, and Firaxis decided to provide the players with a glimpse of the different leaders in the game. The latest culture to be brought into the game in Rome with Trajan as the leader.
It is interesting to note how Civilization 6 brought in Trajan instead of Caesar and Augustus, to be the ruler of Rome. Trajan was responsible for the greatest military expansion of Rome. With him as the leader, fans are hopeful that Civilization 6 will deal with Rome’s most significant phase of expansion.
The other civilizations included in the game include Kongo, Greece, Germany, India and Spain to name a few. The AI in Civilization is what makes it interesting. Firaxis has incorporated AI leaders in Civilization 6, and they help the player understand their strategies and actions better, by talking to them. To make the leaders more distinctive in Civilization 6, the developers have given each AI a hidden agenda.
Until the previous installments, the cities in the game have taken only one title irrespective of the number of buildings and wonders. Civilization 6 updated this particular feature. The game split the cities across multiple tiles and different districts. Building the districts involves a lot of strategies.
The players have to decide where each district will go and which titles they will reserve for farming. Civilization 6 provides bonus points to the players who place districts close to certain things.
