‘Nashville’ Season 4 Second Half to See the Triumphant Return of Juliette to Music City!

Season 4 of the American musical drama TV series “Nashville” on ABC is still on its midseason hiatus and will return to the small screen on March 16 with its 11th episode.

The show was supposed to make its midseason premiere on February 3 but ABC decided to push it further to March 16, making fans of the popular TV series wait a little bit longer.

Episode 10 of “Nashville,” titled “We’ve Got Nothing but Love to Prove,” was aired on December 9 and given the cliffhanger that it left before it went on its midseason hiatus, fans and viewers can hardly contain their excitement for the next episode.

The upcoming second half of Season 4 of “Nashville” will be good for the fans of the ultimate drama queen Juliette, played by Hayden Panettiere as she will reportedly make a triumphant return to Music City, reports the Christian Today.

Juliette’s return will not happen in episode 11 though but in episode 14 which is slated to air in April. The actress has recently joined the cast for the filming of “Nashville” Season 4 so her character’s return is already confirmed.

Panettiere took a hiatus from acting since October 2014 to treat her postpartum depression. Some two months later, she gave birth to her daughter Kaya.

In the TV series, Juliette checked into rehab for her depression after abandoning her husband and daughter and has not been seen since then.

Stronger than before

Showrunner Dee Johnson, in an interview last December, said that Juliette will come back to “Nashville” stronger than before.

Accordingly, Juliette’s brief stint in rehab helped her a lot in battling her emotional crisis. When she left her husband Avery Barkley, played by Jonathan Jackson, and daughter Cadence, all she wanted was some space. It never occurred to her that Avery would file for divorce and prevent her from seeing Cadence.

Johnson said that they will try to find where Juliette fits into the landscape of the TV show because she is indomitable.

Juliette will also be in for a rude awakening if she expects that things will be the same before she abandoned her family.

Reports have it that Juliette’s return to “Nashville” will not be as victorious as she expects or hopes it to be. She may have been given access to her child Cadence, but Avery still does not like her around. According to spoilers, he will still push through with the divorce and that he already has a new woman in his life to replace Juliette with, notes the International Business Times of India.

It was actually Emily who convinced Avery to allow Juliette visitation rights to Cadence because the child still needs to grow without losing out on mother’s love.

Avery has previously made it very clear in episode 10 that he does not trust his wife and does not think she deserves a second chance. He even told Emily that he thinks that Juliette is just being manipulative.

A contrasting fate

While the relationship of Avery and Juliette seems irreparable already, Deacon Claybourne, played by Charles Esten, and main protagonist Rayna James, played by Connie Britton, will take theirs to the next level after being engaged during the first half of Season 4 of “Nashville.”

In fact, reports have it that Deacon and Rayna may possibly tie the knot when the show returns for its second half starting on March 16.

Nashville season 4

“Nashville” chronicles the lives of various fictitious country music singers in Nashville, Tennessee that stars Rayna James as legendary country music superstar whose stardom begins fading while the younger Juliette emerges into the scene.

The series, created by Academy Award winner Callie Khouri and produced by R.J. Cutler, Khouri, Dee Johnson, Steve Buchanan, and Connie Britton, premiered on ABC on October 10, 2012, and had more than 8.93 million viewers. The pilot episode was made available on Hulu, iTunes, and ABC.com before it premiered on television.
