Various things are coming up in the 11th season of “Criminal Minds”, as the show continues to push its story forward in different directions. The writers are obviously determined to make it as interesting as possible, and they have been working hard to ensure that their fans will get plenty of fun with the new season, and so far they’ve been doing a great job. It remains to be seen how things will work out till the end of this season, but so far it looks like fans are right to have some pretty big expectations.
One of the details about the upcoming episodes that we’ve seen revealed recently is the fact that JJ is coming back from maternity leave, after many fans were hoping that they would get to see her on the screen once again. On the other hand, there will be some slightly less happy developments in the new season too, such as the fact that Giuseppe Montolo will mysteriously pass away in prison after sending out a warning to Morgan.
This obviously gets the team on their toes and everyone is quite a lot more aware after that event, but it remains to be seen if the incident will have more major implications for the plot as the story goes on. For now, fans are mostly focused on the return of A. J. Cook and her character, something that many people have wanted to see for quite a long time now.
The actress originally made an announcement on her official Instagram account letting her fans know that she’s coming back, but since then people have been actively speculating on the details of her return and how it could play into the general story as well. So far, it looks like things will be business as usual pretty shortly after she is back on the screen, but we’ll have to wait and see.
It’s interesting to note that the actress will be returning with her newborn by her side too, as her character on the show will also get her child and this will allow Cook to keep working while keeping the baby by her side. Reports indicate that people on the set have been excited to have her playing along with her actual child, but hopefully this isn’t going to cause any tension among the crew, as working with a child is always difficult, but probably doubly more so if it’s the child of someone else involved.
There are some more dramatic rumors for the show’s upcoming episodes as well. Some people are expecting that a character will be killed off sooner or later, and Cook’s character is exactly who most are looking towards right now, with many people believing that the writers are planning a dark plot twist for her and she’ll be off the screen for good sooner or later. Which, for many fans would be a very disappointing development indeed.
After all, it would be a bit cruel to kill her off after showing her getting a baby, and many fans have expressed their disappointment over the suggestion that this is what the writers are planning. Of course, so far this is just a rumor and it’s not really a valid reason for fans to get upset, but we don’t know if it’s not actually something that is being planned or at least considered as an option on the table, and knowing the producers of this show, anything is possible.
