Season 4 of the American reality TV series “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is just three episodes away from wrapping up and thus far, the show have put in a lot of interesting plots for its viewers to chew on.
Episode 17 of Season 4 of the series is officially titled “I Do,” which will air on VH1 on August 17 and it looks like it shall focus on the formal union of Mama Dee to Ernest, despite the second thoughts and skepticisms coming from Mama Dee’s son Scrappy, notes AJC.com.
Mama Dee never bothered to tell her son that she is going to marry Ernest soon and she blames his lack of communication with her as the reason. On the part of Scrappy, he has already approved of Ernest for his mother but he did not think that the wedding would that be soon.
Scrappy felt that the fool in Ernest is moving too fast and suspects that he has a hidden motive or something for pushing the marriage too soon. It also does not help that Jasmine, Scrappy’s sister, is feeding his brother with negative information about Ernest.
So when Scrappy confronted Mama Dee on episode 16, he also revealed to his mother that he was upset because his ex-girlfriend Erica Dixon would be part of the wedding as a bridesmaid and told Mama Dee that if Erica will not be removed from the entourage, he will not be walking his mother down the aisle and turned her over to Ernest.
Erica was more than happy to step aside as a bridesmaid because she also does not want to stand beside Bambi, who is Scrappy’s current girlfriend. However, Erica simply thinks that the mama’s boy in Scrappy is just showing because he is upset that his mother is about to get married soon.
Started and ended with a surprise
The 16th and most recent episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” shown on August 10 titled “Bait and Switch” started and ended with a surprise but there were a lot of dramas sandwiched in the middle, details VH1.
The opening surprise came when Kirk gifted Rasheeda with her own store, which is something she has been belaboring him about for ages. Kirk has been adamant into giving in to her wishes but suddenly changes his mind and surprised Rasheeda with the store.
Although Kirk could have discussed the matter to his partner like a normal couple would, it seems that his shady character when it comes to finances still prevails on him.
The good thing is that Rasheeda likes the space in Buckhead’s chic Phipps Plaza. While it does look pricey but Kirk can afford it and that there is already a huge inventory up front so no use being too hypocritical about the whole thing.
Rasheeda was even quoted as saying that her crazy ass husband has outdone himself this time around and that it is one secret that she did not mind being kept from her. Rasheeda’s store is likely to be featured in the next episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
A cliffhanger ending
Other than surprising, episode 16 also ended in a cliffhanger focusing on the issue between Mimi and Jessica.
Jessica Dime actually heard about Tiffany’s work with Stevie J and Jazzy Pha and thought that Mimi Faust was taking a swipe at her behind her back. So in order to get some sort of revenge against Mimi, Jessica teams up with Margeaux for a duet without informing Mimi about it. Margeaux is the ex-girlfriend of Mimi’s ex-lover.
