Chris Evans to Be Accompanied by Jenson Button on Top Gear, Rumors Say!

There have been various rumors about the replacement of the trio of hosts of “Top Gear”, and while now we know that Chris Evans will be one of the new stars to head the show, the others are still under question. Rumors are still going strong and many people are curious to find out who the other two hosts are going to be, but some names seem to pop up in the media more often than others.

Jodie Kidd, Phillip Glenister and Guy Martin are among the most commonly referenced stars so far, but there are others too – most recently, Jenson Button has been rumored to be joining the cast of the show. We don’t know if it’s true or not, but the rumor did claim that the official announcement is supposed to be made very soon, so we’re going to find out the truth over the next few days.

Button himself has been quiet on the issue and he didn’t want to comment, and the BBC themselves have been trying not to make any revelations about the new hosts at this point as well. However, neither of the two sides has denied the rumor so far, which for some fans was of course an indication that there could be some truth behind those claims.

Chris Evans himself seems a bit humbled by his new role, and he compared it to “being the new Doctor Who”. It’s true that a lot of people are paying close attention to him right now, and we expect that there will be a lot of criticism aimed at his role once the first episodes come out. Of course, fans of the show are known for being highly critical of any sudden changes in general, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it takes them some time to get used to having Chris Evans in that role.

In the long term though, we expect that things are going to work out one way or another. It’s not the first time the show has seen a change of hosts, and while it’s true that it’s the first time this has happened in such a controversial way, the producers of “Top Gear” seem to know what they’re doing and they have the interests of their fans in mind. So we’re not going to see new episodes that fall below the standard of quality that “Top Gear” fans have come to expect.

On the other hand, we hope that Chris Evans is going to be able to perform normally instead of feeling under pressure, as the actor does seem to realize the huge importance of this role for his career. It’s going to be a pretty major move for him, and if he doesn’t put some significant effort into giving fans what they want, this might affect his performance further down the road as well.

And it’s true that some people are claiming that he has “big shoes to fill” with his new role, with so much attention focused on how well he’s going to perform. He apparently has some experience with such claims made about his acting though, so he doesn’t seem to be too phased by the situation. For what it’s worth, Chris Evans is known for being able to deliver his best when he puts his mind to it, and we know that his best can truly shine above many other actors out there, so we’re confident that we’re going to see something good in the new episodes of the show.
