‘FIFA 16’ to Roll Out to Video Game Retail Markets Starting September 22

Although game developer and publisher Electronic Arts (EA) has yet to confirm the release date for the latest iteration of its highly-successful football simulation video game “FIFA 16,” the FIFA Game News has already published its release dates on seven key regions of the world starting on September 22 as reported by the Day Herald.

FIFA Game News reported that “FIFA 16” would hit the North American market on September 22 before it gets to three different regions two days later. It will make it to the retail markets on September 24 in Australia, Europe, and Latin America except Brazil.

On September 25, it will roll out to the United Kingdom and a little over two weeks later or on October 8, it will hit the retail markets of Japan and Brazil.

Prices upon roll out

Accordingly, “FIFA 16” has a placeholder date of December 31, 2015 but it has been the tradition of EA to release “FIFA” video games in September so it seems that the release schedule posted by FIFA Game News may be on target.

EA would most likely make an announcement or official launching about the game anytime from June to August before officially making the video game available to the retail markets in September. The developer would most likely provide more details about “FIFA 16” despite of the fact that information about the upcoming football simulation video game have been very aplenty in the internet lately.

In terms of prices, it is reported that when it is released beginning in September, “FIFA 16” shall have a retail price of 60 Euros (approximately $68.34) for the PC, 70 Euros (approximately $79.73) for the current generation gaming consoles such as the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and 73 Euros (approximately $83.15) for the next generation gaming consoles Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Story mode for ‘FIFA 16’

It has been reported last week that the upcoming football simulation video game may see the addition of a story mode that lets players create a football character, take him through the process of training, and play his way up to the big football clubs.

The reported new feature on “FIFA 16” is actually similar to the MyPlayer mode in “NBA 2K15” and MyCareer mode in “WWE 2K15,” which makes the story mode really viable and plausible too.

Although the feature is far from confirmed since EA has yet to make a statement about a new story mode on the game, a recent listing for EA somehow suggests that the new element could be really in the works.
