Jackie Chan Refuses to Dwell About His Love Child with a Former Beauty Queen, And More Details

For the very first time, Jackie Chan mentioned about his love child named Etta with actress and former Miss Asia Elaine Ng. However, the Asian action star refused to talk and dwell so much about her.

Jackie Chan was in Hong Kong early this week to promote his autobiography titled: “Jackie Chan: Never Grow Up, Only Grow Older,” and during an interview with the press, one member of the media asked him about his daughter Etta after reports came out recently that the girl had her mother arrested for physical abuse.

The reporter asked Jackie if he would be leaving part of his inheritance to his nearly 15-year-old daughter Etta and he said that he does not believe that the girl needs his inheritance.

Jackie Chan started her affair with Elaine Ng back in 1999. He later got her pregnant but Jackie decided to seek the forgiveness of his wife Joan Lin and totally cut his ties with Elaine and their love child Etta.

Regretted the mistake

Jackie Chan disclosed that he has had his regrets for the mistakes he committed in the past. He says he really feels sorry for Etta for being a victim of her own past.

The action superstar said that Etta has been hurt and he deeply regrets it because he has apparently let both sides down, reports Yahoo! News.

When asked if he will continue to disregard Etta as his own daughter, Jackie Chan said that there are things that are better left unsaid. He said that he is leaving everything to time and nature to take their courses.

If in the end or later on, he and Etta were destined to meet and they have the opportunity to flesh things out between them, then so be it, explaining that he is an easygoing person and can easily be swayed into deciding something for the good of everyone.

In Borneo

Jackie Chan was just in Borneo, Malaysia last week to grace the 2015 Asian International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA).

In an interview with some of the press covering the awarding ceremonies, Jackie put forth on the table an idea to do a love story movie in Sarawak, having been captivated by the island’s picturesque appeal and romantic aura.

However, he said that he would only do a love story for a movie if Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh would be his romantic interest.

When an AIFFA host during the award show’s opening relayed Jackie Chan’s pronouncement about a love story film to the Malaysian actress, Michelle was quoted as saying that she and Jackie have been talking about a love story movie for more than 20 years already. She also added that anytime Jackie is ready to shoot, she will be ready too.

Many Chinese fans have been longing for a reunion movie between Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh because they look good on the screen together. While “Police Story 3” was more of action and a bit of comedy too, it was obvious that there is chemistry between the two stars.
