With the advancement of technology, the gaming world is becoming more exciting and more qualitative. Same is for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will have no graphical downgrades.
CD Projekt RED unveiled few screenshots of the game late last week, but it was not warmly welcomed by critics. Some said the upcoming game seems downgraded.
However, Community Manager of CD Project RED, Marcin Momot, lately stepped forward to defend such criticisms. In an interview with Worlds Factory, he said the final game will have no graphical downgrades.
He was also reacting to the criticism based on some recent reviews of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Fans criticized the demo that showed off use of Nvidia’s PhysX middleware in the game.
Fans said the demo was not up to the mark considering earlier projects from CD Projekt RED. Immediately it was also widely rumoured that the much-awaited game would be equipped with same downgraded level of graphics as shown in the preview.
In an official statement Mr. Momot asked fans and critics to consider that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still in production and that the team is still working on certain aspects that are still below the sky-high expectation levels.
He added further that the final version will be better than the screenshots and will be the same across all the platforms. He assured fans that the final version of the game will look gorgeous and there will be no downgrade as it is being speculated now.
The statement also read that in their released demo they wanted to focus exclusively on the HairWorks, which under PhysX is the hair and fur rendering technology. It will get graphical enhancements and will run perfectly on Nvidia powered PCs.
Meanwhile, Movie Pilot writes that the game’s map is twenty percent larger than Skyrim’s, and it will be stunning. The images reveal that Witcher 3 may have some new and exciting features.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is gearing up to release on February 24 next year on the Microsoft’s Xbox One and Windows PC along with Sony’s PlayStation 4 gaming console.
