In addition to Audi and BMX, Jaguar Land Rover has some pretty heady competitors in the SUV segment when the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace comes out in the first half of next year.
Reports have it that it is the Porsche’s Macan that would be the F-Pace’s main competition, pricing-wise, so it is possible that its base model will come out of the retail market with a price of about $54,000, with the supercharged V6 model commanding a price of about $77,290.
Accordingly, Jaguar Land Rover has put up a new plant in Solihull where some 1,300 workers are working to get the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace up and running soon. Given its huge manpower, the F-Pace would likely make it to the showrooms early next year at the earliest.
Not only is Jaguar Land Rover entertaining the idea of having two SUV models to come from its 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, the British carmaker is apparently looking into producing several electricity-powered Jaguar vehicles in the near future.
Buoyed by the current demand for hybrid and fully electric vehicles, Jaguar Land Rover is said to be looking at the 2017 F-Pace crossover SUV and the XE sedan in coming up with an electric-powered versions as well too in the future.
