2016 Volvo XC90 is the Swedish Carmaker’s Strong Statement for Competitors in the Luxury SUV Market!

Although it is not as wildly charismatic as some sporty crossovers and SUVs but it is like an old friend that will always be there for the person even before he is needed.

While the all-new 2016 XC90 has not yet been rated by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Volvo expects that its SUV will eventually get the same top and remarkable ratings that its predecessor did.

The base T6 model, which is called Momentum, combines a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and can exude maximum power of 316 horsepower and retail for just under $50,000.

The package already includes an all-wheel drive, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and third-row seating. With a fuel efficiency rating of 22 miles per gallon, the base model of the 2016 XC90 is one of the more economical large luxury SUVs, although, on the road, it handles like a car.

The sportier R-Design of the T6 variant and the more luxurious Inscription model are being retailed with prices about $3,000 and $5,000 higher than the base model so a well-equipped T6 can cost up to about $60,000.
