In addition to the leaked spy shots, there have been reports of pictures that were allegedly scanned straight from Toyota’s materials and seem to show the car, or at least some concept art for it. Several different versions can be seen. As we said previously, those aren’t very close to the appearance of the car in the spy shots, from what we can tell.
The main differences between the concepts are in the front and rear, while the side profile remains relatively unchanged. The pictures also show several different color variants for the car. All designs seem to look nice enough, especially for a 2015 release, but of course, once again, the actual model doesn’t seem to be in there.
We should get a glimpse of how the new Prius looks in November when Toyota are supposedly planning to unveil it, and until then, even though those concept pictures were likely fake, they’re still interesting to look at as they show some creative plays on the Prius design.
Even though this line isn’t known for its attractive appearance, Toyota can still do something to give it a more interesting design in the future, and we wouldn’t mind seeing a more sporty-looking Prius at some point. It could certainly have a very strong positive impact in some areas where the company has an established presence.
