The suspension of the 2016 Nissan Altima also has struts up front and features a multilink rear, but the Japanese carmaker guarantees sportier handling of the sedan because of new shocks, new rear springs, new bushings, and new tires.
The electric power steering has also been re-tuned for quicker response and better feel. The sedan also features several techno-savvy safety features including the blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, moving-object detection, adaptive cruise control, forward emergency braking, forward collision warning, and Nissan’s very own predictive forward collision warning system.
The predictive forward collision warning system looks not only on the vehicle directly in front but two cars ahead.
