Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to Focus Solely on Drake as Main Protagonist!

There have been rumors that “Uncharted 4” would allow players to choose between different characters to go through the game with, or that it might at least offer the opportunity to play as a new character at certain points. However, recent claims indicate the opposite – while we are indeed going to get a character that will play a major role in the story, he won’t be playable and will be only an NPC.

In fact, the player will only be able to play as Nathan Drake for the entire game, putting an end to rumors that the game would feature multiple selectable characters and other similar goodies that would make it even more diverse and interesting. Of course, we don’t expect “Uncharted 4” to suffer from any issues with boredom in its gameplay, but it would have still been exciting for some fans to see the story from a new perspective.

The rumors were made particularly strong by the fact that Naughty Dog recently developed and released another game – “The Last of Us” – which gave players the option to use different characters, and it actually focused a lot on the idea of playing with Ellie for quite some time. This, combined with the fact that Nathan’s brother will now be added to the game, led many players to believe that he would be a second playable character, but sadly that’s not the case.

Still, Sam will play a major role in the new title as well, and players shouldn’t be disappointed just because they won’t get to control him. The developers have apparently been putting a lot of effort into making the game a memorable experience and giving players the kind of sequel that they have been waiting for.

It will be all about Nathan, and it’s likely going to tell an even more amazing story than the games that came before that. The title of the new game has been saddening to some fans, as it would be disappointing to see the series ending despite the fact that it’s had such a good run, but in the end that’s how things go and if Naughty Dog have decided that they don’t want to develop the franchise any further, there’s not really much that fans can do about it.

One thing that fans have been finding particularly exciting and interesting about the new game is the addition of a multiplayer mode. While we don’t know exactly how it will play and what kinds of features players can expect to get from it, it’s supposedly going to be a very nice complement to the single player content, and will give players something better to do with their time while they’re stuck on some part of the campaign.

It’s pretty much expected that players will get a choice of different characters at least in the multiplayer mode, but we don’t know who will be offered as a playable character there. The options are quite many, and the developers are probably considering adding even more characters just to improve the roster for the multiplayer.

Other than that, we haven’t heard many new bits of information about the new “Uncharted”. Rumors are plentiful as always, but official information has been somewhat lacking and players have been getting more and more anxious trying to get their hands on any sort of new revelation about “Uncharted 4”. With what the franchise has gone through until now, this excitement is completely understandable too.
