A little over three months since they tied the knot early in February, the marriage of 51-year-old actor Johnny Depp and 28-year-old Amber Heard seems to have hit a rough patch that many kibitzers are saying that divorce is imminent for the couple.
Reports have been saying that the couple are just putting up a happy front in the public even as they continue to fight while they are away from the limelight and public view.
Late in April, to quash the rumors that she has cheated on Johnny with girlfriend iO Tillet Wright, Amber flew to Australia to join Johnny while filming “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The cheating allegations appear to be baseless but the wild partying antics she just had in New York last month was well documented in the media.
Wright eventually came out last week to debunk the cheating allegations saying that she is friend to both Amber and Johnny, reports The Asian Age.
There have also been reports that Johnny is starting to get bored with the wild partying antics of his wife that he may eventually chose to move on by divorcing her for good.
Since there are no official statements coming from either Johnny or Amber about the real status of their marriage, everything is just mere speculation at this point. And only time would tell whether their marriage will survive its first serious rough patch or crack just as easily.
Injured Johnny
Early in March, Johnny Depp sprained his hand while filming “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” in Gold Coast, Australia that forced him to go back to the US to undergo minor surgery.
He came back to the Australian set more than a month later and has since continued with the filming of the fifth installment of the very successful Disney movie franchise.
A little over a week after Johnny returned to the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dean Men Tell No Tales,” Amber also flew to Australia to join her husband and take a break as well from the rumors that were generated by her wild partying in New York last month.
The couple seems to be enjoying each other’s company especially during breaks in filming where they are often showing lots of PDAs between them.
Not buying it
But some people are simply not buying the happy couple image that Johnny and Amber are trying to pass off. Accordingly, the two are just pretending because what they do in public is just an act. The couple are said to be fighting more than ever when they are off the limelight and away from the eyes of the public.
