‘GTA 5’ Release on PC Pushed Back by 2 Months; Online Heists DLC Delayed Too

Rockstar Games is probably getting all types of cursers from gamers of the open-world action adventure game “Grand Theft Auto V” and its multi-player mode “GTA Online” for the latest round of delay in the release of the game on the PC.

The long-promised Heists DLC for “GTA Online” is likewise delayed as a result since Rockstar already announced early in the month that the new content will come with the official rollout of “GTA 5” on the PC.

The game developer already declared that the much-anticipated Heists DLC for “GTA Online” will come on January 27, 2015, simultaneous with the official launching of “GTA 5” on the PC.

For some reasons, Rockstar has made another announcement a few days ago that the “GTA 5” launching on the PC will be pushed back to March 24, 2015.

The good from the bad news

But the good news is, the Heists DLC for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is going to be released ahead of the “GTA 5” rollout on the PC, reports Latin Times. The problem is Rockstar would not want to commit to making a specific release date lest it gets burned again like so many times in the past.

Avid fans of the multiplayer mode are still very much eager for the launching of the “GTA 5” on the PC since it shall also come with “GTA Online” and the Heists DLC. Unlike the multiplayer mode on the consoles, the “GTA Online” for PC can support up to 30 players at one time, making the game wildly enjoyable for the large group of gamers.

Leak is the way out

And as always, in typical Rockstar fashion, every time there is a new round of delay, there is always some kind of leak about the much-awaited Heists DLC as if it’s the developer’s way out of the situation, if not a consolation to anxious and already annoyed GTA gamers.

Of course, Rockstar always claim that it has nothing to do with the leaks. It did not officially come from them so it’s a leak. But it seems that these leaks always pop up after the company makes an announcement about the delay in the release of the Heists DLC, and now, the delay in the rollout of “GTA 5” on the PC.

GTA V Heists

Latest rumors of the leaks indicate that aside from audio files of the Heists DLC, the new content shall also feature seven new vehicles. These vehicles include the Lampadati Casco, Dinka Endura, Vapid, Guardian, HVY Insurgent, Karin Kuruma, Karin Technical, and Principe Lectro.

Lampadati Casco is either a luxury car or a sports car; Dinka Endura is likely a dirt bike; Vapid Guardian is a law enforcement vehicle; HVY Insurgent is a heavy industry vehicle; Karin Kuruma is a compact sports sedan; Karin Technical is a variant of the Karin Kuruma; and Principe Lectro is likely to be an electric motorcycle.
