An avid gamer of the multiplayer version of the open-world action adventure video game “Grand Theft Auto 5” (GTA 5) has just recorded a glitch that is almost a cheat but not quite.
Reputable “GTA 5” tipster and YouTuber MrBossFTW shared that he had recently discovered a dimensional crossing that shall enable players to play the multiplayer “GTA 5 Online” like the single player “GTA 5.”
He shared that he recreated the glitch on Xbox One and found that it worked. But he has not yet tried to do it on the “GTA 5 Online” version for the PlayStation 4 and the PC, notes Mobi-Picker.
MrBossFTW explained that the process takes some time to complete but once it does, it makes the playable character a superhuman that can access buildings that were previously impossible when they either play as a single player or via online multiplayer.
The player can actually enter most interesting buildings that had to do with the Heist missions and includes the likes of Tequi-La-La bar, Blaine Country Sheriff Department, and the Fleeca banks.
Essentially all buildings from the Heist missions should somehow be accessible with the glitch. For the curious explorer types who play “GTA 5” and “GTA 5 Online,” the latest glitch is very special.
But as far as the superhuman powers go, that is all that the glitch can do. It does not allow the player to enter the vaults as he pleases because it still shuts him out.
How to make the multi-dimension crossing
MrBossFTW narrated that he chanced upon the glitch, or Easter Egg to others, so he recreated the same on the Xbox One and it worked.
He advised gamers to pull up their phone and call in for a Deathmatch or Last Man Standing mission on “GTA 5 Online.”
The first sign that the glitch works is if the game breaks if it fails to send the player to the job that he wants. Then, the H.U.D. and indicators on the screen will also disappear. But it usually takes time for it to happen. In fact, MrBossFTW stated that he had to walk away from his Xbox One for a few minutes before the H.U.D. disappeared, details iDigital Times.
But the glitch also breaks all the “GTA 5 Online” functions, which means that the player won’t be able to use his phone, he won’t be able to tap into the weapons wheel, and he won’t be able to see the map. The only thing he can really do is jack cars and drive around and explore Los Santos.
Lowriders DLC Part 2 arriving soon
There have been plenty of contents that arrived on the online multiplayer edition of “GTA 5” last year and it seems that developer Rockstar Games is not about to let up on giving gamers of the very popular “GTA 5 Online” more excitement.
Sometime in November last year, Rockstar released the Executive and Other Criminals DLC on “GTA 5 Online” that allowed players to be a VIP, own a Super Yacht, and create and run criminal organizations.
It was shortly followed last month by the Lowriders DLC Part 1, Festive Surprise 3.0 for the Holidays and Christmas bonus that saw players getting a snowfall, new fireworks, new Tampa muscle car, as well as the Beast vs. Slasher Adversary Mode.
The new contents also released several new safehouses and mansions for players of “GTA 5 Online.”
But Rockstar appears to be not done yet with keeping gamers of “GTA 5” preoccupied and excited as leaked reports from reliable “GTA” tipster Funmw2 via GTA forums said that Lowriders DLC Part 2 shall be coming to the online multiplayer game on Valentine’s Day.
