‘Criminal Minds’ Season 11 will See the BAU Dealing with a Mole in their Midst!

With the absence of the characters of A.J. Cook and Jennifer Love Hewitt from the Season 11 of the American procedural TV series “Criminal Minds” due to their recent child births, the show had to do some refocusing on its storylines and characters to sustain viewer interest.

While there have been numerous plot leaks about the show including some new actors joining the cast of characters, one very interesting subplot that just made the rounds on the internet is the serious leak that the Behavioural Analysis Unit or BAU has to deal with.

According to reports, the premiere episode of Season 11 will already show that there is a mole in the midst of the BAU who shall be leaking out information about their ongoing investigations, details the Christian Post.

After discovering that a leak has been coming out from the agency, the BAU team members will work on finding out the identity of the mole in their team and accordingly, the discovery of the identity of the mole will become one of the biggest revelations and important moments of the upcoming Season 11.

Up for a twisted and bizarre case

The first episode of “Criminal Minds” Season 11 will debut on CBS on September 30 but showrunner Erica Messer already disclosed that the agency’s first case on the Season premiere will be twisted and bizarre.

Messer said that the BAU team members will have to move fast and think quickly in order to apprehend the new villain who reportedly attacks his unsuspecting victims in a vicious manner.

The villain will actually be a criminal who does weird stuff to his victims including painting their faces, which is apparently because of his not-so-good looks, hints the show executive producer.

There are also reports saying that the BAU will be looking into the case of the so-called ‘The Dirty Dozen’ which will put them all in dangerous situations. The team members’ final confrontation with the villains will be set for the Season 11’s finale episode.

The doctor falls in love

Book-smart Dr. Spencer Reid, played by actor Matthew Gray Gubler, will reportedly fall in love in Season 11 of “Criminal Minds.”

Erica Messer said that Season 11 will delve deep into each character’s personal life, but much of the focus will be on Dr. Reid and his love life. In fact, the character will have a very dramatic and disturbing start in the premiere of Season 11.

According to the creator, Reid will be apparently responsible for a crucial takedown of a hitman in the premiere episode and it will be a disturbing scene because he will be using his brain more than his brawn.

Messer added that it will not be a standoff with a gun, but it is going to be a Reid version of a takedown. As the show will start with Reid at the limelight, it is likely that his character will have most of the spotlight for Season 11 as per previous reports and that he will have his new forensic team partner in Dr. Tara Lewis, to be played by Aisha Tyler, details Design & Trend.

Tyler has been made as a series regular and her character Dr. Lewis shall be Dr. Reid’s love interest in Season 11 of “Criminal Minds.”

  1. I think Shemar Moore is leaving. He’s been hinting at his departure for the last 8 months or so — but the producers probably asked him to stay into this season since the two women left.

Shemar is good on the show but I can’t imagine he’ll have a film career. He would be good on a sitcom, however.

  2. If Derek Morgan leaves, I and a lot of others will probably quit watching. To keep your ratings up, keep Shemar Moore aka Derek Morgan, please. Love the show and everyone on it but wouldn’t be the same without Shemar.

  3. Why would someone tamper with a good thing. All of the characters are loved by many. A.J.Cook, aka JJ will be the one that is missed. I hope she returns quickly. It was bad enough when the Prentis character left. No one can replace her, in my opinion. Please leave it alone. It is great as it is. I love it.
