Adam Lambert’s Collaboration with Steve Aoki and Felix Jaehn Produces a Home Run of a Song, More Details!

Fans all over the world were treated to the music video of the collaboration among Adam Lambert, Steve Aoki, and Felix Jaehn on April 26 when their new dance song titled “Can’t Go Home” was uploaded on YouTube by Ultra Music.

Early listeners to the music have nothing but praises for the new dance track. Steve Aoki also have nothing but good words about the “Ghost Town” singer, reports Unreality TV of UK.

Aoki recalled that they shipped the music off to Adam Lambert first. When the singer heard it and loved it, he went straight to the studio and recorded with Steve and Felix.

The electro musician also revealed that they actually did a million and one takes on the dance song “Can’t Go Home” but Adam Lambert did not complain one bit, indicative of how a true professional he is.

Aoki said that “Can’t Go Home” is a home run of a song and he is happy that he was able to nail it big time along with Adam Lambert and Felix Jaehn.

He also became the latest musician to describe Lambert as the best singer he has ever worked with in his lengthy career, saying that Adam is just an incredible artist. It was almost the same description made by Queen stalwarts Brian May and Roger Taylor when they were able to convince Lambert to front for their iconic rock band since late 2014.

Steve and Felix put the dance music on the song and blended it with the impeccable vocals of Adam Lambert. The accompanying music video that was released on YouTube and it featured the special bond between a beautiful beach goer and her chimpanzee friend, notes Idolator.

The introspective monkey was seen sitting alone in his waterfront home, feeling restless, until he meets his new lady friend. They got to know each other but had a falling out over something in the monkey’s past. But as the music video showed, it’s all sand, smiles, and moving forward with life.

Lambert has previously described “Can’t Go Home” as a summer jam, which was quite an accurate description by the “American Idol” alum.

Disclosing about his heritage

Adam Lambert has recently made surprise revelations about his past. It was pretty juicy that it easily made the news right away.

The “Ghost Town” singer disclosed in a recent interview that he actually has some Romanian blood in him and is hoping to explore his heritage when he visits the European country as part of his upcoming summer tour dates with Queen later this year.

Lambert said that he is very excited to go to Romania because of his heritage from his mother’s side of the family. He admitted that he has never been in the country before.

He was also quoted as saying that he thinks his mother’s father or father’s father is a Romanian. Based on his looks, there appears to be a trace of European in Adam Lambert and it would be interesting if he really pursues his intention to know more of his heritage when he goes to Romania.

Paying tribute to a rock icon

Adam Lambert knows the great rock star and musicians not only of his time but also those ahead of him.

In February, during Valentine’s Day, the 2009 “American Idol” runner-up joined Jack Antonoff during the 2016 Clive Davis pre-Grammy Awards party in honoring the late and great David Bowie.

During their performance, Lambert and Antonoff performed “Let’s Dance,” which was made famous by David Bowie.

In an interview before his performance on stage with Jack Antonoff, Lambert said that he is very honored to be asked to perform the music of a legend. He also says that David Bowie was a musician that was ahead of his time.

The “Ghost Town” singer cited Bowie for continuously reinventing himself and pushing not only new music but new ideas as well.

Adam has built up a solid reputation as a gifted performer that’s a real pro & a great guy to work with, no pretense or ego, a breath of fresh air in this business.
