Malik’s life has apparently not been easy ever since the incident, as he’s also been under fire in the media with allegations of cheating and other harsh comments. And while he initially reported that he was under a lot of stress, he has apparently found a way to cope with his situation lately, and things have been improving for him little by little.
According to reports, Zayn Malik has decided to take a break from everything surrounding him at the moment, and is taking his fiancée Perrie Edwards on a romantic vacation. The two apparently need the getaway as well, as he has recently been accused of cheating on his partner, and has had to deal with the fallout from those allegations as well. It’s not clear how the relationship between the two has been going since that incident, but we can only assume that he’s had some difficulty rebuilding the trust with his partner.
Malik says that he has also taken up meditation in order to relieve himself from the stress, and apparently it’s been working out quite well for him so far. His new favorite thing to do seems to be to lock himself away in his bedroom, isolate himself from everything and just let his mind relax. And with all the stress that he’s had to deal with lately, he probably really needs something like this.
What’s next for Zayn Malik after all of this drama in his personal and professional life? The star apparently has plans to try his hand in a solo career, something which has been on his mind for a while according to reports. It’s not clear when he plans to actually get started on that path, but he still seems to have a pretty active following of fans who loved him in One Direction, so he should have a good start from the very beginning.
He has also been working with Naughty Boy, and his work there has been a bit more rap-like, with R&B elements. A song from that collaboration has already leaked to the Internet, but wasn’t received very warmly by Malik’s fans. Hopefully his solo work is going to be a bit more successful than that, but in the end, the set he released with Naughty Boy is likely in a different creative direction compared to Malik’s own work, so it shouldn’t be taken as any indication of what we can expect. There have been rumors that Drake is going to be a huge inspiration for Malik’s solo project.
