When some celebrities are faced with a problem like acne which can affect their entire appearance, they seek cover and avoid making any public appearances for a while until the situation calms down. Others grab the bull by the horn and embrace their situation directly though, not just so that their fans aren’t kept out of the loop, but so they can proudly display their struggle as well.
Kalel Kitten, a celebrity that rose to prominence through her YouTube channel, seems to be in the latter group, as she has recently posted a video on her channel with 1.7 million subscribers, showing her current fight with acne. And it seems like she’s going through quite the struggle, but she has her head up high and she’s not giving up.
Most of her videos so far have been focused on various “challenges” between her and other YouTube stars, such as joey Graceffa. However, a recent upload to her channel had a bit of a serious tone to it, as she revealed that she’s been dealing with the worst acne breakout of her life, and she’s been trying very hard to defeat the condition but she’s been having a lot of trouble with it so far.
She added that she’s not yet aware of her particular trigger for the condition, but whatever it is, it’s apparently quite bad – she’s not only went down with a severe case of acne, but she’s also been suffering from severe depression because of it. However, looking at this video, her spirit hasn’t been broken yet and she’s still able to contribute content to her channel. Hopefully, she will serve as an inspiration to other sufferers of acne who have been having trouble coming out in front of people, as the condition is known to affect a large number of people.
At some point, Kalel Kitten stated that she didn’t even want to leave her home or look at her reflection in the mirror, and even though she acknowledges that there are people in much worse situations than her, she still seemed really troubled by the whole predicament. We can only hope that her condition will clear up sooner than later, and she’ll be back to delivering amazing content to her channel.
Her fans have been very supportive as well, wishing her well in comments on her videos and staying by her side throughout the struggle. Surprisingly, she didn’t become the target of trolls or anything along those lines, and everyone was pretty much unanimously in support of her struggle.
