The Redmi Note 2 just build on the gains of the other high-end technical specifications smartphones of the Xiaomi including the Redmi 2 and the Redmi 2A which now has a combined figure of 13 million units sold.
Because of the sales caper pulled off by the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, other smartphone manufacturers have joined the bandwagon by introducing smartphones with similar technical specifications, including the upcoming Motorola Moto G3, which is also a budget smartphone from the American tech company recently acquired by Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo.
Based on their respective specifications, the Redmi Note 2 and the Moto G3 appear to be evenly matched in terms of display, hardware, memory, and camera.
The differences lie in the battery because the Moto G3 only has 2,470 mAH lithium-ion battery, and their market prices. The Moto G3 will come out with a retail price of $180, which would really swing the favor for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, as far as budget-conscious smartphone buyers are concerned.
Xiaomi is considered in the global smartphone business as the poster child of the low-cost, high-spec smartphone, but people should be surprised to know that the Redmi Note 2 is actually manufactured in India at a plant located at the Sricity special economic zone in Andhra Pradesh operated by Foxconn.
