Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro Reportedly Coming Out this Month with a Real Metal Casing and Fingerprint Scanner!

At its current price point of $125, nice design, powerful processing package, and great software experience, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is an excellent option in the mid-range smartphone segment.

It is likely that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro will come out with a higher price tag than its base model, but it would certainly not go beyond $200, making it still a great bargain.

The Redmi Note 2 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display just like its predecessor, but it has an improved resolution from 720 pixels to full HD with 1080 pixels, resulting to a higher pixel density of 401 pixels per inch.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor clocking at either 2GHz or 2.2GHz depending on the version. It is backed up by the PowerVR G6200 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 also has its downsides including its average camera despite being better than its predecessor and a disappointing battery life notwithstanding that it is practically a phablet.

Despite its few letdowns, the Redmi Note 2 is one of the better smartphone options based on its price range and things are even better with its international version which comes with pre-installed Google Apps already.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro gives consumers an even better option for a mid-range phablet that has high-end specifications.
