Xiaomi Redmi 3 Released On Entry Level Market And Comes With Upgraded Specs!

In a world with a ton of smartphones to choose from and more being released each month, it is hard for smartphone makers to get a piece of the pie without releasing a phone that is anything short of top of the line. The screens are getting bigger, the batteries are lasting longer and there is more hardware packed into smaller bodies than every before. For the most part, Apple has the strongest grip on the market, but that is not keeping others from joining in.

One of those companies is Xiaomi, which has two smartphone models out on the market and just released another that might be one of the best yet. In order for smartphone companies to get any piece of the pie, they have to get into what is called the “entry level” market. That has to do with more affordable phones that are targeted towards to the first time smartphone users and the younger generation that might not have the money to get something like an iPhone.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 has been released in China and for the most part is one that is affordable with some premium specs. According to the sources that have posted reviews online, the phone comes with upgraded specs compared to what the consumers have seen in the last two versions. Even for a first time smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 is a nice upgrade with a 5-inch display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB more with a microSD card.

Because the screen is so large, the phone has double the RAM of most phones and an octa-core processor, it will need a larger battery. According to reports, the 64-bit, octa-core processor is being powered by a 4,100mAh battery, which is very large in comparison to other phones on the market right now. On the average, you can find a battery to be around 3,000mAh to 3,500mAh in size, so it looks like consumers might have a chance to get through an entire day without charging the phone.

One of the best features, besides the screen, the RAM and the process, is the fact that it will be a dual-SIM smartphone. Not only does it have a larger battery than most of the smartphones on the market, it also comes in at 144 grams and an 8.5mm body. The phone will be available in three color options including silver, gold and grey. The Xiaomi Redmi 3 is an Android smartphone, but it does have the MIUI 7 built over the top of the stock Android operating software. In most cases this is no big deal, as long as the new user interface works better than the stock Android.
