Apparently, Microsoft and Ford have worked out an exclusive agreement that will make the Ford GT the cover car for the video game, and the GT and other newly-revealed cars such as the newest version of the Ford F150 Raptor and the Ford Mustang GT350 be part of the roster of cars in the game.
Henry Ford III, executive-in-charge of the GT’s development, said the partnership with Microsoft is part of Ford’s view that video games are new avenues for the company to reach their customers.
In the same manner, the deal has given the development team at Turn 10 Studios direct access to Ford’s design teams as the new GT was already in development. Turn 10 staffs were among the few people outside of Ford who knew of the car’s existence, prompting John Wendl of the game development company to say that it is the first time that they are able to launch a car and a video game at the same time.
Turn 10 Studios has already released the gameplay trailer of “Forza Motorsport 6” during the E3 2015 and it really looks promising.
