X-Men: Apocalypse Screens Teasing Fans Of The Upcoming Super Hero Flick!

X-Men: Apocalypse has been in the works for a while now and fans have been foaming at the mouth to get any indication as to where the story is going to go. Of course, most of the movie goers that have watched all of the X-Men movies are not the same group of people that have read through all of the comics. With that being said, there will be gaps in the story that can only be filled in with the movie.

The movies do a great job of following along the comic book story line, as well as the animated version of the superhero group, but that does not mean that fans are OK with having to wait so long for more information. This week, the fans starting buzzing on the internet because a screenshot was revealed on Instagram that showed a behind-the-scene look at X-Men: Apocalypse. This time, the image that was shared showed Storm.

In the image, you can clearly see that Storm is overlooking the city of Cairo, Egypt. The image shows what it looks like behind-the-scenes during the filming of that shot, as well as what the shot will look like on the finished product. The was liked more than 13,000 times and has more than 500 comments on it over the last week. The image was posted to the official Instagram account of the X-Men: Apocalypse director, Bryan Singer. The caption reveals even more about the movie.

In it, Singer posted that “Storm watches over 1983 Cairo” and that was just enough to get all the media outlets scrambling to post the news about the movie. The X-Men will be in 1983 Cairo to take on Apocalypse, according to reports. The director has already shared other images, including one that shows Cairo in ruins, Jubilee and Jean Gray and James McAvoy’s bald head. All of these things are true teasers for the fans that have been waiting long enough to see how the story continues. As of right now, X-Men: Apocalypse is scheduled to be released by the May in 2016.

That will be almost three years after Singer announced that the movie was going to be developed. Casting finally started in October 2014 while photography and other filming took place in Canada. Apocalypse is not as well know as the other X-Men, but he will be the main focus for this film. Other cast members that are younger versions of X-Men include Jean Gray, Storm and Scott Summers will also be a larger part of the focus in the film. Summers is not as clean as he is as an adult, Storm is headed down the wrong path and Jean Gray is very complex, yet not fully mature.
