A lot has been said about the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse” from fans who are patiently waiting for the film to release, but there is still a long time to go until 2016 when the film is reportedly coming out. And while fans have already had a chance to see some of the new characters that will be introduced in the new installation of the film franchise, there is still a lot to be revealed and this of course has resulted in plenty of discussions – mostly of the speculating kind.
One thing that would make a lot of people happy right now is a solid trailer, one that digs deep into some of the film’s details and shows us what we can truly expect. And while most fans don’t seem to have any strong expectations that this might happen anytime soon, that might not quite be the case – according to some recent reports, there might be a trailer coming out much sooner than people are anticipating.
The report is still unconfirmed officially, but according to these claims we’re going to see a trailer for the film in about a month. More specifically, once “The Martian” is released, it will be accompanied by a trailer for “X-Men: Apocalypse”, and a good one too – a trailer that will reportedly show us quite a bit of what we’re going to see in the movie itself.
We don’t know if the rumor is true or not, but it seems to be coming from multiple different sources, according to reports, so there might be something to it indeed. Plus, it would be a good time for the producers to release a trailer for the film too, as many fans have been talking about this possibility for quite some time now, and they would definitely love to see their wishes fulfilled.
It would also make sense from a marketing point of view to advertise the film around the release of “The Martian”, although hopefully the new “X-Men” isn’t going to steal the other film’s thunder. Ridley Scott has been working quite hard on his new film and he will want to give it the full exposure it’s capable of, so we don’t know how the release might be structured with regards to the rumored “X-Men” trailer.
The new film is supposedly going to take the story forward into the 80s, showing us younger versions of some of our familiar characters, such as Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclops and others. On the other hand, we’re also going to see some of the original team members and general characters coming back, and it looks like the producers are trying to fit as many interesting personalities into one film as they can. Whether or not this will work out well, we don’t know.
Because even though fans will enjoy seeing so many familiar characters at once, it could also feel a bit overwhelming if there are too many of them, especially if there are significant differences in the way they’re presented compared to other films in the franchise.
And even though there’s no trailer yet, there have been at least some minor releases of promotional materials to fill that gap, such as candid shots from the film’s set and various other bits of information from people attached to the project. It looks like work on the film is going at full pace and there are no setbacks in sight that might compromise the whole thing.

I remember Apocalypse from the animated X-Men TV series. He looked intimidating, but that voice though… no thanks. I’m thankful Oscar Isaac got the part, I guess, haha.
