‘X-Men Apocalypse’ Director Shares How Cast Celebrated After Wrapping Up First Filming for Movie!

Coming to theaters on May 27, 2016, “X-Men: Apocalypse” will see the return of McAvoy and Micheal Fassbender as Xavier and Magneto, respectively. The film will also tackle a major romance plot between Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast. Lawrence and Hoult were in a long-term relationship until they called it quits in 2014.

The movie will also see the return of Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, and Lana Condor as Jubilee.

Meanwhile, after wrapping up principal photography, actress Olivia Munn, who will be playing Betsy Braddock a.k.a. Psylocke hinted that her character still has some work to do when second unit production resumes.

Munn’s character is a superheroine mutant known for her telekinetic abilities, but the comics saw her eventually have her mind placed in the body of a Japanese female ninja, hence her extraordinary skill in martial arts.

In her recent Instagram posts, the 35-year-old host-turned-actress shared clips demonstrating a series of impressive martial arts kicks directed at targets held by her training partner. Similar to her sword fighting video she posted in June, Munn has clearly spent a lot of time training as preparation for her character’s fighting scenes in the movie.
