The film will see the eponymous superhero team unite and try to defeat the Egyptian antagonist and his Horsemen. Speaking to Cinema Blend, more than being a visual spectacle, producers say the film’s emotional wrap-up will be just as satisfying as the fight with the titular villain.
First Class characters reprising their roles include CIA agent Moira MacTaggert, played by Rose Byrne, Lucas Till as Havok, and Magneto’s son Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” will also feature new actors taking on the familiar characters in their younger versions such as Jean Grey portrayed by “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner; Storm, to be played by Alexandra Shipp; and Cyclops, to be portrayed by Tye Sheridan.
Kodi Smit-McPhee plays the younger version of the Nightcrawler while Ben Hardy will appear as the younger Angel. Olivia Munn will portray Psylocke, one of Apocalypse’s Horsemen. X-Men co-creator Stan Lee will be making a cameo appearance in the film.
Meanwhile, fans of the highly anticipated movie will be happy to know that the trailer for Apocalypse will soon be released.
