WWE Fastracks Triple H vs. Sting Match by Putting it on the WWE Fast Lane!

The conflict between The Authority COO Triple H and the avenger Sting has been brewing since Survivor Series 2014 in November.

And during the Monday Night RAW on January 19, six days before the Royal Rumble 2015, the conflict heightened anew when Sting stepped in to enable John Cena to win a three-in-one match against Kane, the Big Show and Seth Rollins, much to the chagrin of Triple H and the Authority.

The hype and the tension have been building up so much that fans already expected that Triple H and Sting would likely square off and settle their differences in the biggest wrestling stage of them all, WrestleMania 31, to be held at Levi’s Stadium in Sta. Clara, California on March 29, 2015.

Putting the fight ahead of schedule

Sensing that WrestleMania 31 is still a good two months away for Sting to make his first pay-per-view debut at the WWE in a match, the Authority has put him on the organization’s next pay-per-view event called WWE Fast Lane slated on February 22, 2015 at the WWE Network.

The match was not an official ring announcement in the WWE but made through a tweet by the WWE citing that as per the Authority, WWE COO Triple H is challenging Sting to a match on the WWE Fast Lane. The tweet also ended with the line indicating that it came from the Authority and was dated January 27, 2015, details Wrestling Inc.

Also on a separate tweet, COO Triple H also said that John Cena will be facing Rusev on the WWE Fast Lane. The two began their conflict during the Royal Rumble 2015.

It is not clear whether Sting will agree to the match with Triple H because he has been known in the wrestling circles as a non-conformist, an avenger, as well as a law-breaker.

Building up the excitement

Wrestling fans believe that the match on the WWE Fast Lane could be a preview of the bigger match between Triple H and Sting come WrestleMania 31.

It is likely that the match at WWE Fast Lane would end abruptly or would have an ‘unfinished business’ type of ending that the two wrestling superstars will go at it again come WrestleMania 31.

The WWE has been losing a lot of lustre of late and it needs all the superstar power it can get, especially during pay-per-view events, to draw in the crowd and most especially the PPV buy-ins.

In fact, during the Royal Rumble 2015, no less than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson showed up, not to fight but only to spice up the festivities and the PPV event itself.

As the biggest wrestling stage of them all, the WWE needs all the star power it can get and pull together to make WrestleMania 31 very successful and keep its tradition of success intact.
