It looks like a lot is going to happen with “WWE 2K16”, as 2K have been working hard to make the game better for their fans and to match the expectations of those who’ve been with the franchise for longer. It’s obvious that many people are still actively interested in the series and it’s not going to die down anytime soon, and that’s mostly because 2K have been very active in their support for the game, not missing a beat when it comes to adding features that their fans have been after.
Details are king in this game, as 2K have been polishing it up in all sorts of intricate ways that give fans plenty of room for exploration and messing around with interesting features. It looks like the primary focus in the title will be to allow players to truly immerse themselves in the world that it offers, and it’s going to go a long way towards making fans feel like they’re really in the ring and facing their favorite wrestlers.
A lot of that will happen thanks to the very advanced Creation Suite, the customization feature that allows players to come up with their own wrestlers and fine-tune their appearance in order to get represented by their ideal avatar in-game. There was a special dedicated trailer for this feature alone, and it’s obvious that 2K have been working very hard to expand on everything that fans enjoyed about customizing their wrestlers.
It’s going to be particularly exciting for those who liked to customize other aspects of the game and not just their wrestlers, as this title will see the return of completely custom championships and arenas, and fans will be delighted to hear that Divas are now back in the editor and fully customizable as well. This has been a nice surprise to those who were disappointed by the feature’s omission in previous titles, and we can’t wait to see what kinds of designs fans are going to come up with once they’ve had a chance to play around with the new game for a while.
Players will also be given more freedom in their playing with this installment as well, as for example they will now be able to initiate a match before the bell has actually rung, by attacking their opponent prematurely. This feature has been highly requested by the community for some time now, and it’s another example of the fact that 2K simply know how to listen and they are open to working with their community for the sake of improving their products.
In addition, there will be more commotion surrounding the matches themselves, and each action that the player chooses to perform is going to have an impact on the world in one way or another. There might even be longer-running chains of events designed to help players truly immerse themselves into the game, but this is just a rumor and we haven’t heard it confirmed officially so far.
Realism seems to be getting improved to some extent, although this has invoked mixed responses among fans. Some seem to want the game to remain wacky and untraditional, retaining all of the features that made it so special in the first place and continuing to cross the border between ridiculous and realistic as much as possible. It’s true that this game was strongly based on the premise of ridiculousness, so it would be strange to see that aspect of it get toned down in the new release, but we’ll see where things go.
