It’s interesting to trace the development of “World of Warcraft” through time and see how the game reached its iconic status as one of the best games in the industry and one of the most easily recognizable names.
Even people outside of the gaming community know about “World of Warcraft” and many are happy to see that the franchise is still in active development, but we can’t say for sure how much longer this will go on for. While it still has plenty of fans, their numbers have also been dwindling lately.
That’s completely expectable though, looking at how long the game has been around for. “World of Warcraft” has had a pretty long run already and Blizzard probably don’t expect the franchise to last forever.
But they have certainly been doing everything that they reasonably can in order to keep their fans interested in the game and to preserve the constant discussions that people like to have about it. The time before the release of a major update is a particularly exciting one for everyone involved, as this is when players get to speculate about the kinds of changes that are coming up in the game, and the way its gameplay is going to evolve in the future as well.
