‘World of Warcraft: Legion’ to Enable Gamers to Change the Aesthetics of their Gears!

The upcoming expansion pack of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) “World of Warcraft” titled “Legion” is set to be unveiled in the third quarter of this year and gamers are already very excited about it.

The expansion pack was officially announced by game developer Blizzard Entertainment during the BlizzCon 2015 event held in Los Angeles, California in November last year.

Apart from the previously reported features of “Legion,” a new screenshot of the upcoming expansion pack also revealed a new feature in the game. The screenshot came from a video that was posted on YouTube recently but has since been deleted by Blizzard most likely.

Accordingly, “Legion” shall also come with a separate wardrobe tab which would enable gamers to change the aesthetics of their gears, reports Youth Health Mag.

A collection of goodies

Blizzard is now taking pre-orders for the upcoming expansion pack “Legion” and offered gamers several options. Users can choose a digital copy of the game, which is the standard version.

Or they can also opt for the deluxe version, where a game is included plus other bonus items. The developer, in a recent statement, said that they have added something new to the collection of goodies that players can get when they purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of “World of Warcraft: Legion”

There is also an Illidari Feldstalker Mount and Nibbles pet that are included should players choose the digital deluxe edition. Other bonus items include a Feldstalker Mount for “Heroes of the Storm,” Wings of the Betrayer for “Diablo 3,” new Fel Protoss portraits for “StarCraft 2” and again, a helmet transmog.

The developer wants fans to keep in mind that “World of Warcraft: Legion” is still in development. The Alpha tests are back as far as the expansion is concerned. For gamers who have not been selected to be part of the alpha test, they just need to keep an eye out for streamers and websites that might share new information.

Wow’ event calendar

To keep the game always interesting and lively, Blizzard has lined up a lot of gamer events since the start of the new year.

The company held its first event of the year as a carry over affair from December last year and called it as the Pet Battle Bonus Event, leading to its end on January 4.

It has also lined up four weekly bonus events in January including the first of the Timewalking events from January 6 to 11, the Apexis Crystal Bonus Event from January 13 to 18, the Arena Skirmishes Bonus Event from January 20 to 25, before wrapping it up with the Cataclysm Timewalking set for January 27 to February 1, details Icy Veins.

As if to spice the gamer wait further, game developer Blizzard Entertainment has been making short announcements on what it plans to do with the popular multiplayer game if and when the expansion pack finally arrives later this year.

One of the interesting things that Blizzard will be changing is the Player versus Player (PvP) mode of “World of Warcraft” that critics actually forecast that the system is going to get closer to the Vanilla era.

Some of the expected changes on the PvP mode of “World of Warcraft” include the eradication of currencies for buying gear, players will be able to level up with a game mechanic closer to most online shooters, and there is already the unlocking of rewards and Honor Talents or loadouts.

Gamers and critics of “World of Warcraft” believe that the plans of Blizzard are actually better than the current system so the shake-up of the PvP mode of the MMORPG should be most welcome to fans and gamers.

World of Warcraft

Some critics also observed that the planned new PvP of “World of Warcraft” actually takes a page from the book of the “Call of Duty” role-playing video game franchise as it shall emulate the latter’s Prestige leveling system.

This means that gamers can no longer purchase gear from vendors using Honor and Conquest. Instead, characters who have attained the highest level will earn Honor Points by engaging in Battlegrounds or Arenas, and therefore increase their Honor Level, until the maximum of 50.
