Netflix’s American family sitcom Fuller House is set to premiere the second season of the show and the audience are ecstatic to find out what the writers have in store for them. Given that the last season was all about secret references and gloomy nostalgia, this audience is very well expecting the return of the Tanner family’s this season.
This season can be a bit of sad news for the fans of actor Jason Marsden as reports have suggested that D.J Tanner’s ex-boyfriend’s role will not be played by him in the upcoming season.
It has been allegedly confirmed that Hal Sparks is set to portray the character instead of Marsden because of his unavailable dates for the shooting. While who is going to portray “Nelson” has been revealed, the story behind is still a bit blurry.
In recent interviews, Marsden clarified all the floating rumors and urged the fans to not abandon the show just because of his absence. He further clarified that he has great expectations for the upcoming season and is distraught that he couldn’t be a part of it due to his prior engagements.
The previous season depicted D.J as someone with really deep commitment issues, and when Candace Cameron Bure was recently interviewed about her character this season, she said that D.J is going to choose someone in between “Steve” and “Matt.” The audience won’t be left in a daze this time round.
Cameron further teased some spoilers saying that the decision is made but it looks like it might end up splitting the fans of the series into two, one on the side of “Steve” and the other for “Matt.” She further exclaimed that even though the fans adore both the characters, the decision is pretty made up.
Fuller House actress Candace Cameron rocked out and spent a marvelous evening with the American Rock Band, Beach Boys while humming to the tunes of “Barbara Ann” in a concert that happened in the Central Park in the New York City. She even shared the moment on her Instagram and captioned the same with how elated she was to meet them.
The original series of “Fuller House” that aired back in 1988 also had snippets of the Tanner family lip-syncing to the Beach Boys, and it looks like history is on the path to repeat itself. And the audience is not being able to hold their excitement in anymore.
Cameron has been quite open with the storyline of the upcoming season, well, not wholly but she has been liberal giving us snippets of the story in bits and pieces. While her interviews with several media outlets, she has stated that the upcoming season is going to be full of “twist and turns” and full of uncertainties.
While everything might seem a bit unclear, John Stamos’ Instagram post has left the audience thinking that there might be a new addition to the show. Conclusions might be drawn from the post that a new “kid” might be a new addition for Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on the upcoming season.
And don’t get your hopes high if you have not seen the Instagram post. Stamos posted a picture of him and co-star Lori Loughlin on their set with a monkey sitting on his shoulder. And it looks like this little capuchin monkey is speculated to be their “kid.”
And looks like, the “kid” is not just the only addition this season because D.J’s best friend “Kathy Santoni” is set to reappear on the season 2 of Fuller House. We still don’t have any ideas or speculations encircling her character, but well, one can only hope for the best.
