“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is being directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg based on the script written by Jeff Nathanson while Jerry Bruckheimer remains as the film’s producer.
On January 15, 2015, the directors confirmed that they were shooting in New Orleans and in Puerto Rico. Bruckheimer added that there will also be a couple of scenes shot in Louisiana. Additionally, an Australian Arts Minister spokesperson said that the film got an exclusive government agreement for the film’s shoot in Australia.
It was reported that the deal was worth $20 million. According to reports, the film has already been over budget after the delay that happened when Depp was injured last March.
