Even before the release, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron has created a major buzz. Marvel has not announced any plot line yet, but fans are looking for clues and Easter eggs to find out some details about the plot line.
Marvel Studio’s President Kevin Feige has said that Avengers 2 will borrow the title ‘Age of Ultron’ from the comic with the same name, but the film will have a different storyline. The San Diego and New York Comic Con had special screening of the Avengers 2: Age of Ultron trailer.
The star cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Thomas Kretschmann, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chris Evans, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johansson and Paul Bettany. The original cast along with the actors playing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, join Joss Whedon.
The trailer revealed in the San Diego and New York Comic Con, opens with the Hulk fighting different members of the Avengers. The San Diego trailer shows Iron Man in action against the Hulk while the New York trailer also adds Vision in the fight. In the end, the trailer shows the Avengers scattered on a hill, while Iron Man gazes up at something. The shattered shield of Captain America a.k.a. Steve Roger lies in the background.
There have been shocking reactions from the fans as the trailer of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron hints at the possible death of Captain America. Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man is also shown lamenting the death of his friends Black Widow, Thor, the Hulk and Captain America. This has caused much anticipation among fans about what is to come in the last instalment of the Avengers. Joss Whedon, the director, has also said that this film will see a major character dying. Who will it be?
There is much speculation about the depiction of Civil War in Avengers 2 Age of Ultron. This is the last time when the Avengers assemble, and there are a lot of talks and discussions on different websites about what the future holds for the superheroes. Those familiar with the comic will know that the Civil War results at the end of super heroes. Captain America and Iron Man go head to head and Captain America ends up dead, only for Iron Man to realise that the war wasn’t worth the loss of his friend’s life.
With Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Black Widow and the Hulk expected to die, what will become of the Marvel’s universe. Characters like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man and even Spiderman are speculated to take the MCU in their worthy hands.
