The first episode is titled “Borrowed Time” while the official synopsis for the plot reads “Peter seeks Rebecca’s help to locate Neal, who is currently held hostage by one of Rebecca’s old friends, Jim Boothe. Jim makes it clear that if Peter does not follow his instructions, Neal will be pushed down an elevator shaft. Jim has planned his escapades quite well in advance and plans to join The Pink Panthers – a celebrated group of thieves. He wants to gain access to the diamond that is currently under the FBI’s protection, as it would guarantee a direct membership. Neal, however, has loftier plans. He says that he will be of assistance, but asks for ‘something’ in return.”
A reputed online magazine reported that this could be Neal’s biggest assignment, and since it is the final season of White Collar, fans are looking for some major action and drama. However, could this heist guarantee Neal’s freedom?
TV Line, meanwhile, has grand revelations for the fans. They claim that the second episode plays a pivotal role this season while the premiere episode will be one of the biggest draws. The second episode witnesses Neal and Peter pose as a father-son duo, although, it is skeptical whether Tim De Kay will be able to fit the shoes effortlessly.
White Collar Season 6 also features a minor role-reversal as we see that it is Peter, and not Neal that has a secret hidden from the world. There is no word on what Peter is hiding however. Hence, you will just have to wait and watch the show to find out!
