If fans were to be asked, the show could go on forever or at least until the zombie apocalypse dies down but for writers and producers of the show, they’re eyeing the possibility of the show lasting for 6 more years or up to Season 12.
Executive producer David Alpert dishes the original comics have given them ample ideas for Rick Grimes and the others that could last until the show’s 12th season.
Speaking to Indiewire, Alpert admits the production crew already has a solid concept of where Season 10 is going to be and where Seasons 11 and 12 will be heading to. Alpert adds that they already have benchmarks for those seasons if the show is still green-lit by 2021.
