What Were the Most Major Developments in Revenge’s Season 4? Let’s See

“Revenge” is over, much to the disappointment of many of its fans, but on the bright side, the show managed to have a better run in four seasons than most shows do over significantly more installments. In the end, it was a fun ride while it lasted, and the last season 4 definitely brought some memorable moments that will stay in the hearts of fans for some time.

Some fans and critics have of course been discussing their overall impressions from the new season, talking in particular about their most and least favorite episodes. For example, seeing David tricking Nolan into appearing on national television and making a fool of himself was highly enjoyable for many, and a part that was particularly enjoyable to some fans was the moment when David got his moment of revenge in the end, even though there was a bit of a mix-up over the reasons for the drama.

On the other hand, the “prize” for the worst overall episode went to the show’s finale, even though many expected to get a positive feeling out of it. That wasn’t the case for everyone though, as the way the last episode was written left some fans disappointed. In the end, the show left everything on a bit of a cliffhanger, and it rushed through some points that many fans saw as important and deserving of more attention.

The moment when Emily gave a puppy to Jack at their wedding made everyone feel nice, and it was one of the more endearing scenarios in the new season. Sammy brought them together in season 1, and it was a nice throwback to the past to see the two adopting a new dog friend for the show’s finale.

And it looks like not many people were fond of the way David Clarke was revealed to actually be alive, perhaps unsurprisingly to most. Yes, it’s true that it was pretty much expected that it would happen at some point, but it still wasn’t a pleasant development for fans of the show. Pretty much nobody seemed to enjoy that happening, and the explanation for the way the whole scene proceeded wasn’t received quite well by most fans either.

Revenge Season 4

In the end, the general sentiment among fans was that the payoff from the reunion when David came back simply wasn’t worth all the events that had to transpire to lead up to that moment. Many fans would have preferred the subplot of David Clarke to have been left alone for the most part, from what we can tell – and we can’t blame them.
